Let’s talk about Aftercare!

Aftercare is a short-term program intended to provide you with a safety net. Services are designed to help young adults transition to either independence or to another program like Extended Foster Care or PESS.

Extended Foster Care
Extended Foster Care

Extended Foster Care is a voluntary program for young adults aged 18-21 (or 22 with a qualifying disability) who grew up in the foster care system who would like additional assistance with transitioning toward independent living.

Post Secondary Education Services and Support is a program that helps young people formerly in foster care while they are in school. PESS also provides continued transitional and financial planning that will assist in meeting your current and future needs.
